Pulse Defense is an offline iOS tower defense game built with accessibility for blind and low-vision players in mind. We respect your privacy and have designed this app to collect as little data as possible.

1. Data we collect

The app collects no personal data. We do not require an account, do not ask for your email, and do not contact any analytics or advertising server.

The following information is stored only on your device and never transmitted to us or to third parties:

• Game progress (current map, wave, gold, achievements)
• Settings (audio volume, haptic intensity, language, accessibility profile)
• Statistics (time played, towers built, enemies defeated)

This data lives in iOS UserDefaults and is removed when you uninstall the app.

2. Data we do not collect

• Personal identifying information (name, email, address, phone)
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, microphone, camera
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV) for tracking
• Usage analytics (no Firebase, no Google Analytics, no third-party SDKs)

3. Tracking

The app does not track you across other apps or websites. The Privacy Manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking = false.

4. In-App Purchases

Pulse Defense is free to download and includes a single one-time In-App Purchase that unlocks the full campaign:

• Free content: Chapters 1–2 (6 maps, 7 towers) are playable at no cost — a complete demo of the haptic and audio experience.
• Full Game Unlock: one non-consumable purchase ($4.99) unlocks Chapters 3–4, for a total of 12 maps and 10 towers.

There are no subscriptions, no cosmetic purchases, no loot boxes, and no advertising. All transactions are processed by Apple via StoreKit — we never see, store, or have access to your payment details. The purchase supports Family Sharing, and you can use Restore Purchases (in Settings or on the unlock screen) to re-activate it on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

5. Third-party services

The app uses only first-party Apple frameworks:

• Core Haptics — vibration feedback
• AVFoundation — audio synthesis
• UIAccessibility / VoiceOver — screen reader integration

None of these services receive any personal data from us.

6. Children's privacy

The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. We do not collect any data from children or adults.

7. Your rights

Because we don't collect data, there's nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. To remove all locally stored game data, simply delete the app from your device.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we'll update this document and bump the version number above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
